​Corner Farm Holidays has invested this summer in a range of renewable systems to improve the small holding carbon footprint and make us more energy efficient. Investments have been aligned to planning permissions for this Grade II listed property. Solar Panels have been installed on the south side of the Cart Lodge. Separate battery storage has been provided for both the farmhouse and the barn. Not only does this save on electricity costs it also provides backup power to both buildings. In the event of power cuts (an occassional occurence in rural areas due to fallen trees on power lines) both buildings have continued supply while the outage is fixed.
